Mr Woolston has been a Headteacher in Gloucestershire for over ten years now but he is the newest member of our team because he joined us in September 2017 and he’s really enjoying getting to know everyone involved with our school. Mr Woolston is in charge of RE and PSHCE but he has overall responsibility for everything! He loves nearly all sports and he enjoys nothing more than a long walk with his dog called Mousse.
Mrs Netting is very creative and loves art and design. She is one of the first people we meet and helps us settle when we join the school - she is always calm and happy! We really enjoy her art and choir clubs and look forward to the special events she organises, such as whole school trips. Mrs Netting is in charge of Art, D&T and Music and is also a Forest School leader. She ensures we have lots of exciting activities to do like bug hunting and den building when we visit our Forest School site on Gretton Hill.
Mrs Fisher is in charge of English and Geography. She has made sure we have a lovely library so that we can go and read books or listen to stories. We join her class after we leave Reception. She loves reading and every year she organises a Book Week, when we have a Book Fair and take part in lots of activities to celebrate reading, such as book quizzes, making our own books, and dressing up as book characters. She also helps us to learn to sew in her craft club. She is a very kind teacher.
Mrs Jones teaches in the afternoons in Kingfishers.
She loves all of the creative subjects.
Mr Bridges is the Owls teacher and he is alway smiling! He has spent time teaching in various schools in Nepal and has been able to help set up a link up between our school and one of the Nepali schools he worked in. We are able to send and receive letters from them and also to learn about a very different school and culture to our own. He loves sport, especially rugby and runs an after school rugby club for us. He always wears amazing costumes on dressing up days!
Mrs Jackson is our SEN Co-ordinator and she makes sure that we are all able to do our best. She runs the netball team, making sure we are ready for matches and tournaments. Each year, Mrs Jackson and Mrs Holt arrange a Residential visit to a centre where we have a great time trying lots of exciting and scary activities. We all come back tired but proud of what we have achieved! She is always very organised.
Mrs Holt job shares with Mrs Jackson in the Eagles class. Mrs Holt is Maths mad! She makes our Maths really exciting! She is like a professional playwriter, working with Mrs Jackson and Mr Major to create some hilarious summer productions for us to perform. She also teaches us some great Bollywood dancing! She is very funny and caring.
